DeeFest 2025 is an inclusive kayaking event taking place on the River Dee near Llangollen from 26-27th April 2025. Check out my blog about the 2024 event here. The event celebrates the River Dee and includes fun races, socializing, and a party. The event hub, registration, and trade village will be at Mile End Mill (MEM). The entry cost for 2025 is yet to be announced, but was £40 in 2024.
Dee Fest features various activities such as Mass Start Race, Ducky Cross, Taily Jam, Social Float, Deestyle Rodeo, Warrior of the Wave, and Pool Inflatable Race and Party Wave. The party will take place at Llangollen Town Hall from 7 pm to midnight, with Extreme Events as the DJ crew. Parking and shuttles will be available, with a shuttle running between Horseshoe Falls, Mile End Mill, and the Ponsonby car park. There are various accommodation options in the area, including campervans/motorhomes at Mile End Mill, Bryntysilio Outdoor Centre, Gales Wine Bar, Llangollen Hostel, and more.
